Raised in Southwest Florida, Ricky has had a passion for music his whole life.

His first taste came from his Middle school band director. Ricky was told his arms were too short to play his instrument of choice - the trombone. Without hesitation, Ricky picked up the next instrument he saw (a trumpet) and never looked back.

It’s that never give up thinking that has led him to the success he is blessed with today and afford him continued success in the years to come.

Just as his high school career came to close, he was already on his way to becoming a world class Disc Jockey. He got his first club gig at the age of 18, and continued with several residencies until 1994. Radio came calling.

With the understanding that no one wants to see a 50 year old night club dj, Ricky began is radio career. Weekend overnights, swing, and best of all, production. Ricky had found his calling.

With his new found title of Creative Director, Ricky traveled to New Jersey to image two radio stations, after several ratings success stories he then traveled to Dallas Texas to relaunch a struggling CHR station for CBS Radio. After many years of hard work Ricky was soon Creative Director for the entire Dallas cluster for CBS Radio.

While at CBS, Ricky co-wrote and co-produced a single for Columbia recording artist DF Dub.
